In which I try, after 25 years of blogging, to drop my ironic stance a bit.
It’s still not working properly with my version of IE6.

Anyway, I notice that you don’t even bother pretending that you’re fixing your wife’s excellent blog (http://www.bird.co.uk/) anymore which suffers from the same right-hand nav malaise.
Also if Richard wants to fix a date and venue for a fight just let me know.
